Volunteer Procedures.
- Complete the registration form and read through the terms and conditions. Remember to send you’re CV (in English), a motivation letter and a photograph of yourself.
- You will receive an automated confirmation email that your application was received.
- Within 48 hours you will receive an email with more information about the placement, and other relevant interesting information.
- We will answer your questions and help you with travel needs etc.
- Once the project has replied positively to your registration, we can confirm your volunteer placement with an invitation letter for the project.
- You can then go ahead and book your flight, and make any other arrangements for your trip to Africa.
- We can make arrangements for transfers, accommodation, bus tickets and so on, should you require these.
- You will receive an invoice for the costs and initial down payment via email.
- At least 50% of the full amount is required as a deposit to confirm your placement at the project.
- We will contact you concerning your arrival dates, local transportation, car rental or any other questions you may have.
- A member of our’s staff or a staff member from your project will meet and welcome you at the airport.
- We guarantees that you will have a memorable experience in Africa. To make sure all those memories are good ones, let us know what’s on your mind so we can help you plan ahead!
Requirements
You should be fluent in English. Provide proof of age (copy of passport). You must be 18 years old.
Those under age 18 may attend age-appropriate projects with adult accompaniment. Provide an original or certified copy of a recent criminal background check (less than 1 year old), since you will be dealing with minors.
