Job

We currently do not have any vacancies available.
But if you have been on a volunteer trip, you can become an ambassador for our trips by sharing your experiences and getting more people to go. You can do this by sharing information and / or attending trade fairs and information meetings. For this you will of course receive a reward, so send us a statement of interest.

If you are an ambitious, confident and determined university student who is passionate about travel (but not sure how to make those dreams a reality) all you have to do is recruit 10 people to take AA trip and you will go absolutely free. All your accommodation, transfers, meals and in country support will be included and if you can convince 20 we’ll throw in your flights for you too – result!

You have a huge network of contacts at university, most of whom will no doubt be bitten by the same travel bug as you, so you’re perfectly placed to spread the word about AA Year trip of your choice.

You can run your trip at whatever time of the year you wish but generally the summer months give you more scope. Choose from any of our worldwide destinations and the minimum duration for the trip is 1 week.

Internship

Do you have a great interest in travel, culture and human rights? Do you also read post-secondary education in tourism, marketing, web / IT, graphic design or global studies?

We are very positive about receiving interns as it gives both us and the student good and important exchanges. Sounds interesting, you are warmly welcomed with your application.

Write a little about yourself and send your resume to  info@travellersafrica.com  or learn more about us on our website: www.travellersafrica.com

Highlights of our Volunteer programs:

What kind of skills you need to go for our Programs?

Initiative, enthusiasm and patience will be essential characteristics for any volunteer embarking on this project. You will need to understand the key aims of your project as a focal point for the broader community and be aware of the long term goals in order to appreciate the hands on work that this project will require.

Any specific skills that you can contribute, such as teaching experience, environmental issues, community health advice, counseling and sports coaching will be appreciated. Volunteers will need to be pro-active in instigating activities that they particularly want to get up and running as supervision and leadership may be fairly minimal.

Volunteers also get involved in extracurricular activities such as sports, drama & music.  Volunteers have shared IT skills with the teachers, held seminars on topics including: health issues and reproductive matters alternatives to corporal punishment (which is formally banned but used at times), business skills, and public speaking and study skills.
