How We Match You With the Right Opportunity

Most volunteer roles require a commitment of a few hours each week, but if you’re able to contribute more time, our teams will gladly accommodate your availability. After you’ve been assigned to a team, you’ll receive all the training, resources, and guidance you need to feel confident and valued in your new role.
How to Get Started
1. Submit Your Application
Complete the volunteer application form to begin your journey. You’ll receive a confirmation email once your submission has been received.
2. We Contact You
Our team will review your application and get in touch to discuss how your skills and interests align with our programs, as well as the next steps in the onboarding process.
3. Join the Team
After your placement is confirmed, we’ll officially welcome you aboard and connect you with the team you’ll be supporting. They will help you settle in and begin your volunteer experience with confidence.
Get Involved
You are welcome to volunteer in Tanzania for a shorter period, such as two or three weeks, if you are unable to commit to a longer placement. These opportunities are carefully selected by our local partners to ensure they are appropriate and beneficial for both the host community and volunteers.
While shorter-term volunteering still offers meaningful cultural exchange and the chance to work closely with local communities, it’s important to recognise that the impact may be more limited than with longer placements. You may not see the completion of all projects during your stay, but your contribution will remain valuable as part of a wider, ongoing effort.
